Welcome to Spectroscopy Analytical Test Facility
Spectroscopy Analytical Test Facility (SATF) was established in 2008 with an intention of providing support for researchers in the institute and also from outside. The unit is equipped with sophisticated instruments for analytical measurements of chemical and biological samples. The SATF has been serving the needs of research students across several departments of the institute and also researchers from various colleges, universities and industries around Bangalore. The users are charged with a nominal amount to partly meet the maintenance cost of the equipment. Formalities required to submit samples:
An Authentication Letter in the letter head of an appropriate authority from your organization, stating the purpose of the analysis/test. A duly filled Requisition form (which can be downloaded from our website) should accompany all samples. The payment has to be made in the form of Demand Draft in favor of "The Registrar, Indian Institute of Science" payable at Bangalore.
